Revetus Healthcare is India based manufacturer, supplier and exporter of Antimalarial Arteether (alpha-beta) Injection.
Severe malaria, mostly due to Plasmodium falciparum infection, accounts for over one million deaths each year as per WHO. Most people with severe malaria require drugs by injections (intravenous or intramuscular) or given rectally. This is because people with severe malaria have a severe illness such as cerebral malaria (an unrousable coma that cannot be attributed to any other cause other than malaria) or repeated generalized convulsions, which may prevent them from taking oral medication. Alpha-Beta Arteether is used in the treatment of malaria. It is not used to prevent malaria or to treat severe malaria (where it has affected the brain, lungs or kidneys). Alpha-Beta Arteether is an antiparasitic medication.
